A key coping strategy I use when I move countries is to try and make meaningful connections with people in my new community – not a new concept or groundbreaking by any means but I am with you if you are thinking that it is easier said than done! 

This year, International Women’s Day showed me the power of community.

“I’ve done this before. This isn’t my first move. I can carry us through this phase.”

We did it. We bravely and boldly stepped into the unknown. We moved to Wenatchee, Washington!

In the last six months, I have actively changed the way I write my emails.
